This is the first time that I have come across such news in my country. The Sialkot Municipal Administration has recently announced that it planning to recruit eunuchs
as recovery officers to collect outstanding water supply charges.

The eunuchs have a huge responsibility as they have to recover Rs 20 million worth of dues but they are determined to work better and will honestly carry out the door to door recovery campaign.
At the moment the eunuchs will be hired on a contractual basis and based on their performance it will be decided if they should be offered permanent jobs. It was decided to hire eunuchs in the first place because of the disappointing performance of the existing recovery staff who failed to collect the arrears.
I guess this is quite a positive stance and eunuchs also deserve a fair chance to work in the system and in decent positions rather than just dance around in weddings.
