Everyone knows the names of George Washington & Abraham Lincoln, but there have been 10 presidents that no one really cares to remember.

Martin Van Buren: He was the 8th President (1837-41). He had a very extravagant lifestyle.

William Henry Harrison: He was the 9th President (1841) & no one remembers him at all, cause he remained in office just for 30 days. He died of pneumonia.

John Tyler: He was the 10th President (1841-45) & this guy was badly unpopular.

Millard Fillmore: He was the 13th President (1850-53) & this man had all the ingredients but his presidency had also been forgettable.

James Buchanan: He was the 15th President (1857-61).

Rutherford B. Hayes: 19th President (1877-81) but this president began the annual White House Easter Egg Roll, which continues each spring & for this reason, he’s remembered by some.

Chester A. Arthur: 21st President (1881-85). Chester is one of those 5 presidents who were never elected; he took office after the assassination of James Garfield.

William McKinley: 25th President (1897-1901). He did listen to the public. Although he opposed the war 1st; however, he brought the country to war with Spain in 1898. Moreover, he was shot by an anarchist in 1901. He died 8 days after he was hit & was replaced by a far more memorable vice president Theodore Roosevelt.

Warren G. Harding: 29th President (1921-23) & this one is regarded as the country’s worst president. He was basically a publisher & he eventually rose to become US Senator; he preferred poker, socializing & womanizing more than working. Since he was charismatic, so he was appointed as the President & he appointed too many corrupt officials. A woman also wrote a memoir about him. She claimed she was his mistress & not just that, but also the mother of his illegitimate daughter.

Herbert Hoover: 31st President (1929-33). He is best remembered for his disastrous response to the stock market crash of 1929 & the ensuing Great Depression but his reputation did improve when he worked for charitable pursuits.
