Well Catherine Zeta Jones has been treated for bipolar disorder these days.
Her rep said, “Catherine made the decision to check in to a mental health facility for a brief stay to treat her Bipolar II disorder. She’s feeling great and looking forward to starting work this week on her two upcoming films.”
It’s hard to believe one could feel great about it & I don’t think there is any brief treatment for mental illness.
It is true that Bipolar II is not like Bipolar I. The depression component of Bipolar I and Bipolar II can be identical. The difference between the two is that those suffering from Bipolar II do not experience full blown mania.
We know this woman has been dealing with her husband’s failing health & that must have been too much. It’s good that she’s getting treatment but she needs to rest rather than run back to work.
I mean there is no such thing as speedy recovery. You have to go through the entire shit when it’s triggered. There is no short cut. You get tired. You get down & she’s feeling great right at the outset. I’m amazed. I wish I could feel that way. It would be so much easier for me to work & play internet games.
