He also said that Courteney is his best friend & he loves her with all his heart. I guess all of us were shocked when we heard about this separation & that too happened caused he imagined her having an affair with someone. It’s so strange that people love each other & still can’t sort out things. I think they were a very decent couple.

Josh Hopkins took rumors of his romantic involvement with Jennifer Aniston in stride. But rumors that the Cougar Town star treated her like total crap?


That's another story.


A sampling of life in the Hollywood rumor mill stung the actor, especially since it started so innocently back in September when he dined with a friend.


"That was really, really weird and hurtful," Hopkins tells Parade. "It's the first time I've ever found myself caught up in the middle of tabloid journalism."

While being linked to Jen romantically is expected - "There are worse people to be in a rumor with," he says - claims that he tapped that for sport hurt.

"It just felt so dirty and invasive," Josh says. "It gave me so much empathy for real celebrities, people that live with frenzied scrutiny their entire lives."
