Elizabeth Taylor Wanted To Be Late For Her Own Funeral.

The very beautiful legendary Hollywood actress - Elizabeth Taylor left her last instructions that she wanted to be late for her funeral as her publicist announced. It was her parting wish that her funeral should start late and that is exactly how it all happened.


She died of a congestive heart failure on Wednesday and her four children were there with her at the time of her death. She was hospitalized at Los Angeles' Cedars Medical Center for about six weeks.


Elizabeth Taylor was buried at a family funeral in a California cemetery, which is the final resting place of many Hollywood celebrities including Elizabeth's good friend Michael Jackson.


Her funeral was attended by 50 family members. The funeral service began 15 minutes after the announced starting time and went on for one hour. Colin Farrell started the service by reading poetry and her grandson Morrison gave a trumpet performance.


Elizabeth Taylor got married eight times to seven husbands. She converted to Judaism before her wedding to Eddie Fisher in 1959. She had won three Academy Awards, one of them for her humanitarian work. She openly supported AIDS research when HIV was a very new thing in the world.


She went through 20 surgeries and operations in her life. In 1983, she admitted she had an addiction for sleeping pills and pain killers. She underwent treatment for her alcohol and drug abuse. In 1994-1995 she had to replace both her hip joints. In 1997, she got a surgery for her brain tumor.


The world lost a good person, a rare beauty and a great humanitarian worker with the death of Elizabeth Taylor. She always mentioned about her sad childhood - in fact she openly said she never really had a childhood because she was forced to work and earn money. This was one of the reasons why she was such a good friend of Michael Jackson, who suffered from an unhealthy childhood himself. Her last instructions were followed and she arrived late at her funeral just as she wished.

Pretty Bad thing, baby!

I just want to have some mindless fun at the moment, so I’m dissecting this write-up ‘Why being hot really sucks!’ I think the writer has some serious issues. And it’s a badly written piece.

I believe the writer is pretty much obsessed with good looks, which is why she says appearance matters, looks matter even more. Speech is the index of mind & there’s no denying that the writer thinks about it day & night, & she must have a gang that solely believes in this theory. Although one doesn’t understand what’s the point of this write-up. We can clearly see she believes she’s hot, beautiful & what not.

“More or less, we tend to agree on who is pretty and who isn’t (with some exceptions). But then again – is such beauty really a blessing or a curse?”

Different people have different preferences. I think Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe & Liv Tyler are beautiful, but I don’t think everyone on this planet will agree with me. How does the writer know with so much certainty who is pretty & who isn’t? And then again she raises that bizarre question. Who gives a shit whether it’s a bane or a blessing? If you’re beautiful, you are beautiful for yourself. And it’s not your bloody fucking contribution, in the 1^st place. You ought to be thankful to your parents & God Almighty rather than writing crappy stuff on it, which is so not pretty.

And then we read ‘things aren’t so pretty for the pretty people’. Just tell me if things are pretty for us ordinary looking folks? The writer also pretends to be sensitive in one of the paragraphs & then she narrates the story of another beautiful friend. You know a genuinely intelligent or humorous person would never die for a compliment. Maybe her friend doesn’t have any humor & I have also doubts about her intellect. I also wonder if she’s a genuine beauty or they all think she’s a beauty. On top of it, this dame doesn’t have much luck with guys. All through her life, she was afraid & all through her life, she was thinking about her beautiful face till one day someone she really liked said, ‘I am afraid I am attracted to you more physically than anything else.’ Ugh, I don’t think anyone can be sexually aroused after hearing this :P

I guess the guy should have said, would you like to sleep with me? Cause this might have sounded a little sexy. What’s this crap I’m attracted to you physically? But then the guy must be totally made-up & fake just like the so-called beautiful friend. Or maybe all of them are so beautiful that they have no idea sexy is better than beautiful. I believe when you can’t think sexy, you can’t talk sexy either. And these people have no clue that ordinary looking people can be sexy & noticeable. I think all these 3 people need to know what is good fuck but you can’t hide true self in the act, so it would be better if these 3 people go for therapy. I think they badly need it.

‘Beautiful people have hearts too.’ Alright. I think the conclusion is equally horrendous where she’s questioning ordinary & ugly people. I think the writer is a complex. She’s so sure that people resent beautiful beings & they think they don’t feel anything. Actually these so-called beautiful people must be bitchy; which is why people may not like them. Everyone is sensitive; it’s another thing people are super-sensitive about themselves & quite insensitive about others.

Pretentious Love

I have heard so much about love and people giving various definitions to it because it is an experience that varies from person to person. It definitely seems to be a beautiful emotion but it is something so rare. Especially the love that people have for each other, if they really do.


Most of the times, they just lie to each other and themselves and don't really realize that actually there is no love between them. I have seen such people. They might have their reasons for living like that. Sometimes, living a lie is more comfortable than the harsh realities that absolutely suck.


I came across many people...countless in fact who intentionally mix things up. In our part of the world, there is this strange wave, that one just has to get married as soon as possible. People, both genders, go mad and absolutely frustrated and angry. They need someone in their life. A spouse so that they meet the norms of the society. When they don't get things done, they take desperate measures. Of ten, love, which is otherwise quite  beautiful is pushed into situations. People push themselves to believe they love someone, whether the person is right for them or if they are right for the other person. But the desire to be like everyone else is so intense, they pretend to be in love. A strange sort of love. A love that only means "I need to get married now or I will go mad" or "I need to settle down cause I can't control my hormones no more". But marriage and love are two different things.


Oh yeah, how can we forget the glorious expression of victory and pride once the goal is achieved. That too, is a sign of people who really, really, really talk a lot about love...their pride is brilliantly visible and flaunted.







Also, this mere desire to actually settle down, move on in life, be like everyone else (since that is considered to be quite normal) sometimes, urges many people to become all green, ugly and vicious. They play games. They pretend nice but their mind is playing a game and actually all they want is to get to their goal. In doing so,  they end  up doing lots of mean shit and hurt or fool many also. 


If love is such a beautiful thing, how can it make people who are so in love so selfish and bitchy? How can people a feeling or desire make people do harmful and spiteful things merely to fit in the norms?


These are just some observations. I have nothing against love. I believe in it. I don't like the way it is abused. Sometimes, I don't even like the fact that some of the most good natured people around don't end up finding true love while many selfish and mean people who actually don't have any patience in them get shit loads of love or attention. If this is all written from before, as I believe, it is, I think it is not so much fun to read.


Nevertheless, inspired by a movie I watched when I was little and the love that Hindi cinema promotes - true and beautiful love and that truth is love, I still feel if anybody is in love with someone somewhere, the best thing is to let the person know, rather than play a mindful game or wait. It just lifts the burden. I would rather take a rejection any day than play a bitchy game against others to attain some fake love to be a part of some pretentious society.
