This is Candice Swanepoel's latest Victoria's Secret photo shoot. Candice was born in 1988 and is a South African model. Her claim to fame is her association with Victoria Secret. 








Candice was discovered as a model when she was only 15 years old and it is said that by the age of 16 she was earning crazy money due to her successful modelling career. Her daily salary was at least 5000 euros per day. 








To name a few of her associations, Candice has worked for Vogue, Elle, Nike, Diesel, Guess, Dolce & Gabbana and many other brands. In 2010, she also became a Victoria Secret's Angel and we don't need to guess why...the lady is absolutely Victoria Secret profile herself.








I think Candice looks pretty hot and sexy in each one of the pictures but not dirty or nude. I actually like her fine toned body unlike the very fleshy Tamil actresses whom I often see these days.

Candice Swanepoel is Too Skinny For Victoria’s Secret

Candice Swanepoel might be fired from Victoria’s Secret for looking extremely skinny at its 2011 Swimwear launch this week. Yeah now that too could be a problem. In fact her weight loss has been quite dramatic.

Lately Candice revealed her newly scary, thin, skeletal frame at an L.A. fashion shoot at the Mondrian Hotel wearing tiger print bottoms and a black bra & it seems many were shocked. Two months ago, she was much healthier when she posed as the face of the lingerie house's Valentine's Day campaign.
Moreover E! News reports:

“Like all Angels, Swanepoel, 22, is expected to be “healthy and muscular,” according to her Victoria’s Secret contract, says our source.

“There is a really clear criteria for both Angels and the catalogue. Their career path is Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue then to Angel, it’s the highest paying contract there is, period. The image is about being voluptuous, it’s not fat, but it’s curvy,” says the insider.

“But if you start to look skinny and ‘editorial print-like’ like fashion mag models, like undernourished, it gives the image the company does not want. Their shopper is older, their target is the Macy’s shopper. These are young women who feel pressure these models, she [Swanepoel] could lose her contract if she gets too thin.”

However, Candice has responded to the concern over her weight which goes something like this: “I am healthy and happy. I’m heartened to know how much everyone cares about me, but in this case, everything is normal and good.” Well Candice is good-looking & it will be a loss if they fire her but she has lost too much weight for sure. Earlier on, she claimed that extensive traveling was the reason behind her weight loss.

Another Victoria's Secret model, Alessandra Ambrosio, was also criticized last year when she looked too thin in a bikini in St. Barts. However, Candice has been trying to put on weight.

What model scout Kevin Ellise was doing in a Durban, South African flea market, we'll never know. But thank goodness he was there because, otherwise, we may have never had the pleasure of ogling a scantily clad Candice Swanepoel, whom he discovered there when she was just 15. Ellise had this to say about the first time he laid eyes on Swanepoel: "It was like… honestly, like a beautiful flamingo walking past my shop. The way she walked past just did it for me.” Clearly it did it for the modeling agencies too; Swanepoel was commanding 5,000 Euros for a day's work by the time she was 16.

Candice Swanepoel's rise to stardom is the stuff fairy tales are made of. As a young girl growing up in the remote South African farming village Mooi River, Swanepoel's model aspirations were literally oceans away. Once she was discovered, Candice met with the head of a local modeling agency who snapped some Polaroids and sent them out to Select, a London agency that represents top talent like Sienna Miller and Helena Christensen. Within 25 minutes of receiving the Polaroids, Select requested Candice's presence in London immediately. After a flurry of castings in London and New York, Swanepoel was just a year into her career when she began strutting down the world's most exclusive catwalks while appearing in Italian Vogue photo campaigns for Fornarina and Top Shop.

Having appeared on the covers of Greece Vogue and Elle Germany, as well as runway shows for Dolce & Gabbana, Betsey Johnson, Tommy Hilfiger, and Diane Von Furstenberg, Swanepoel's career has been a success by any standards. But in 2007, she joined the ranks of supermodels Miranda Kerr and Alessandra Ambrosio when Victoria's Secret bestowed on her a title that transcends our conventional ideas of beauty: Candice Swanepoel became a Victoria's Secret Angel, and will forever be worshiped by you, us and everyone we know.
